LINC builds, deploys, and maintains mesh networking technology throughout Lincoln County that enables individuals to keep in touch with friends, families, and neighbors. We also provide free information and assistance for anyone who wants to use these networks.
It’s all totally free, completely private, and doesn’t use the Internet or cell networks.
It even works when the power goes out.
How far does LINC reach?
The range of the network depends on a lot of factors, but you can get a good idea of its coverage area using this map that shows live-ish connections between nodes. Look for nodes labeled “LINC” (those are ours), although every node in the mesh increases its coverage automatically. That’s the magic of the mesh!
Beyond Lincoln County
